SANDY RAGONA, M.S.ED.


Sandy Ragona, M.S.Ed. has worked as a preschool teacher for handicapped children, an elementary & middle school teacher and a college instructor. She has been an elementary school counselor at J. F. Kennedy School in Dubuque, IA for the past 27 years. Sandy’s preventative and proactive approaches to creating programs and strategies have changed student behavior and school climate. Sandy has taught graduate courses in education, counseling, reading, human relations, quality schools, and homework. She teaches graduate courses twice a year for the elementary teachers at her school.

She has led professional workshops and seminars throughout the United States on topics such as counseling, storytelling, bullying, motivation, stress management, and parenting. Sandy’s passion is helping to make a difference in lives of students and teachers.
